Dorothy "Dottie" (Smith) Mathein

Beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend

About

Dottie was the perfect balance of strength and nurturing.  She was a born caretaker providing love and care for her children, parents, sibling, friends, students and animals.  There was a reason her campers gave her the nickname "Cuddles".  Dottie had an infectious laugh and indominable spirit that will be dearly missed.

Thank You

Dottie's family would like to thank the caregivers that gave her love and support throughout her illness.

Special thanks and love to Tiffany L. and Makaela B. who gave love and joy to Dottie from assisted living through her final days. She adored both of you so much.  It brought our family such happiness and comfort to see her face light-up every time you came.
